The Gable End – Links Park Stadium Refurbishment

The Gable End Project is a transformative initiative that reimagines the space beneath the existing external stands at Links Park, directly addressing the needs of the Montrose community.

By integrating a multifunctional community centre, a dedicated dementia centre and a modernised football stand featuring accessible seating, an enclosed sensory booth and expanded changing areas, the design provides both social and sporting benefits. In addition, a new Montrose FC club shop will offer fans easier access to their favourite gear.

The thoughtful layout maximises the available space while creating a more inclusive, supportive environment that enhances community engagement, boosts inclusion and diversity in local football and enriches the overall experience at Links Park. This project will make a real impact to our hometown of Montrose because it not only revitalises a key local landmark but also provides dedicated space for Montrose Community Trust to continue to provide vital resources and opportunities that will benefit residents for years to come.
